The History

Journey begins in 1929, initially started by

Mr. MARUTHAPILLAI s/o SUBBAIAH PILLAI,

Indian businessman hailing  from Salem,

Tamilnadu.

MARUTHAPILLAI KEDAI

in Port Swettenham ( Pelabuhan Klang ) was

a prime spot to have Indian food in that era.

 

As the baton passed to

Mr THIRUMENI s/o MARUTHAPILLAI,

restaurant has moved from small shop to

full grown establishment  known as

RESTORAN THANALAKSHMI VILAS

which was the first Indian restaurant

in port klang, which offered

busy shuffling travellers and business

people

around Port Klang with the homegrown

delectable south Indian taste

 

Rebranded  as

SREEDHANAA CURRYHOUSE

By Mr. MUTHUSAMY s/o THIRUMENI

who received the baton triggered

the expansion mode. From Port Klang

with 3 different outlets with different

business operation to  cater wide variety

of the community.

Man of vision with vast experience and

humble attitude scaled a new height to the

group.
